Way forward : flea market at a petrol station

We had the meeting on the flea market idea last night with the organizers. Now, they need to come to our kiosk for a visit to see how many retailers could fit on our grounds for the market. The challenge here is to find retailers who want to participate in this flea market. Another one (challenge) would be to ensure the safety of the kiosk from hazardous situations as it IS a petrol kiosk.

We plan to do it sometime in December 08 or January 09. No date has been determined just yet.

The organizers are helping us out to manage this event. We need to draft out a proposal on this idea for Petronas Dagangan officials to approve. After getting the green light from, then we can start work.

Apparently, Petronas Dagangan have the same idea (on a flea market) that they want to implement for a few stations but they plan it to be done next year (2009). But this is our own initiative of a community thing with the people in our area, Bukit Jelutong (BJ). Meantime, we could invite Petronas officials and fellow petrol station dealers to help celebrate this event.

Now, we need to find retailers for the flea market, rent canopies, tables/chairs, a fabulous sound system. How can we make money out of all this?
